VSR Networks, Inc. and TechDiscovery announced that Reveille, the industry-standard Application Performance Management System, would support Google's mobile technology initiative called Android. One target application area for Reveille is content management. Reveille can be used by organizations to monitor and measure the health of content management environments, which often involve multiple applications, systems, and operating platforms.
Reveille Android client users will have access to the same proven functionality that provides critical information concerning the health of important technology-based business operations. Reveille uniquely provides the operations management piece of the data capture solution. Reveille will proactively monitor and measure the operational "health" of a data capture platform, a fax in/out service, a workflow server, and an archive or content repository - extend observation to of overall ECM process.
Android provides a software stack for mobile devices that includes an operating system, middleware and key applications. VSR will jointly develop and support the Reveille Android mobile client with Atlanta-based TechDiscovery, a leading business-focused IT solutions provider for world-class companies. With the release of the Reveille Mobile Application Suite, VSR became the first company to provide IT and business professionals with the ability to manage critical business processes from mobile devices.
