Total Control of the Social Networking Web Browsing With SaferSpace

Control over the popular social networking website MySpace can be easily done with SafeSpace. When SaferSpace is running and a user of the computer tries to access the MySpace website, the web browser window will automatically be closed and the activity will be logged. SaferSpace works with all versions of the popular Internet Explorer and Firefox. Also the program includes future that allow the admin to add additional websites to be blocked.

NetSmartz, an Internet safety resource from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, recommends that parents and guardians "look into safeguarding programs" and "consider using filtering or monitoring software" in effort to keep children safe for online browsing.

Studies have linked the use of social networking websites with declining grades. According to a study by Tamyra Pierce of the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism at California State University, Fresno, students with MySpace accounts reported their grades were significantly lower this year than last year, compared to students without MySpace accounts.

Children are also expose at risk outside the home. The proposed Deleting Online Predators Act of 2007 requires that recipients of universal service support for schools and libraries protect minors from commercial social networking websites and chat rooms. SaferSpace represents an effective solution for both parents and organizations that need to control access to MySpace or any other social networking websites.
