The Networked Application Performance Lifecycle™ experts, iTrinegy, launched their most powerful high performance network emulator designed for large scale enterprise testing. The INE Ultra network emulator replicates high speed, high volume networks for large scale testing with up to 50,000 individual network conditions.

These days more and more applications are using the network: E-mail, web (http), fat client, thin client, Video over IP, VoIP, MS-Networking including file shares and while these work straightforwardly in the LAN, the WAN and other non-LAN Networks pose a very significant challenge to their successful operation.

iTrinegy's Network Emulators (INEs) allow you to build realistic "working" models of both current and proposed networks of all kinds, (A)DSL, 3G, Satellite, WANs, GPRS, MPLS etc into which you can easily plug real clients, switches, load generators, servers, routers etc., in order to realistically asses and test an application's behaviour and performance. This means that with iTrinegy Network Emulators you'll be able to ensure that whether it's an application you're developing, or purchasing, you understand its behaviour in the real network without risk to either a production network or having the application fail to perform at rollout. INE Ultra adds very large scale emulation: set top boxes, many servers, many clients, etc. to our range of INE Emulators.

INE Ultra has a fully scalable design with a performance that can handle up to 1.4 million packets per second and although very powerful, iTrinegy have devised a simple yet sophisticated drag-and-drop multi-platform GUI, where testers can configure and control the emulator through a rich pallet of objects such as computers, people, buildings, routers etc which will automatically build the scenario needed with the added ability to connect these objects by lines representing the network paths.
